Your main duties will be to communicate to internal and external customers using a range of channels including emails, phones, and Microsoft Teams, password resets, and installing new software onto PCs. You will be working alongside their current Apprentice who has almost completed his programme! This means you will be able to get first-hand support and guidance on how to successfully complete your Apprenticeship!
In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
* Provide technical support to customers both internal and external through a range of communication channels.
* Using a ticketing system to escalate and document issues.
* Testing and installing new software on PCs and laptops.
* Conducting password resets.
* Use basic connectivity for routers and ID broadband via remote connection.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
* £17,000 per annum.
* Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm or 9am-5:30pm.
* 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays!

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
* Good communication skills both written and verbal.
* Passionate about IT and wanting to progress within the industry.
* Ability to work as part of a team and to use your initiative to work independently.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Grade 5 in GCSE English and Grade 4 in GCSE Maths.

This apprenticeship provides the skills, qualification, and experience you need to immerse yourself within an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective IT Support Technician.
