The Role
As an IT Support Technician, you will play a key role in our award-winning helpdesk, providing exceptional customer service and technical support to over 300 businesses across the Southwest and the UK. You'll work closely with a growing team of seven IT Support Technicians, collaborating to solve challenges and exceed client expectations.
Working within a dynamic and fast-paced helpdesk environment, you'll have the opportunity to visit client sites as required, enhancing your skills and impact. You'll thrive in a supportive team committed to delivering top-tier customer support and service excellence.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 environments, including SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
* Support Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems, including installation, configuration, updates, and troubleshooting.
* Oversee the deployment, configuration, and management of Microsoft Windows Server environments and Active Directory to ensure secure and efficient operations.
* Diagnose and resolve issues related to antivirus software, networking, printers, and connectivity, ensuring minimal downtime and high service levels.
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Apple devices.
* Configure firewalls, routers, and other network security devices to maintain secure and efficient network operations.
Essential Experience & Qualifications:
* Proven experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
* 2+ years of experience in the following areas:
o Microsoft Windows and desktop operating systems
o Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory
o Microsoft 365 administration, including SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
o Antivirus, networking, printers, and connectivity troubleshooting
o Support for Apple devices and operating systems
o Firewall and router configuration
