Primary Responsibilities:
1. Event Planning & Coordination:
o Organize and oversee all aspects of wedding/event planning, catering, equipment.
o Collaborate with clients to ensure wedding/event requirements are met.
2. Team Management:
o Supervise a team of wedding/event coordinators or assistants, providing direction and support throughout the planning process.
o Ensure the team adheres to timelines and hotel price structure.
3. Vendor and Supplier Management:
o Liaise with external vendors, including caterers, decorators, and suppliers, to ensure the successful execution of wedding/events.
o Manage relationships with external customers and suppliers.
4. Pricing Structure:
o Liaise with Management on wedding/event pricing, ensuring events are correctly costed and profitable.
o Provide financial reports as necessary.
5. Client Liaison:
o Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met before, during, and after the event.
o Handle any issues or last-minute changes effectively.
6. On-Site Event Management:
o Oversee the execution of events on the day, ensuring smooth operations, and thorough handover to Operations team.
7. Post-Event Evaluation:
o Gather feedback from clients and staff to evaluate the events success and identify areas for improvement.
