Position:
An opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse at University Hospital Crosshouse.
What you will do:
As a Staff Nurse, you will integrate into the Trauma and Orthopaedic multidisciplinary team following a period of departmental training. Overall experience within an appropriate clinical environment is essential together with suitable knowledge and training. Excellent communication, interpersonal, MDT working, and time-management skills with a willingness to undertake further study in these fields is essential. The Orthopaedic Department has a proactive approach to staff development and has a comprehensive competency programme in place for new staff to support this.
Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
* You will be a registered nurse with current NMC registration;
* Working knowledge of Ayrshire & Arran policies and Procedures;
* Ability to keep relevant skills/knowledge updated and documented;
* Well-developed written and verbal communication skills;
* Be able to supervise and provide a mentorship role to students and junior staff;
* A commitment to lifelong learning and demonstrates evidence of continuing professional development.

5 positions - 37 per week
