Job Description The role will be key to also driving attendance, making sure managers are equipped to handle absence for all reasons and implementing strategies to improve our sickness absence metrics. Key Responsibilities: Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, grievance handling, and disciplinary actions. Union Liaison: Work closely with union representatives to maintain a collaborative relationship and address union-related employee relation concerns. Policy Implementation: Ensure company policies and procedures are consistently applied and comply with UK labour laws and union agreements. Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for managers and employees on labour relations, conflict resolution, and company policies. Investigations: Lead investigations into employee complaints and workplace incidents, ensuring thorough documentation and fair resolution.
