Main duties of the job
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist or Wellbeing Practitioner to join our Colleague Support Service. You will deliver brief, evidence-based psychological interventions to colleagues experiencing emotional distress and help facilitate a culture of psychological wellbeing.
This role involves delivering care that is empathetic, trauma-informed, and respectful, while working as part of a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to staff wellbeing.

Job responsibilities
* Conduct clinical assessments and deliver brief psychological interventions for issues such as stress, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, and anger.
* Develop and implement therapeutic plans, ensuring care is evidence-based and tailored to individual needs.
* Provide consultations, supervision, and shadowing opportunities to Assistant Psychologists and Placement Students.
* Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and research projects to enhance the effectiveness of the Colleague Support Service.
* Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including mental health services, housing, chaplaincy, and other professionals.
* Maintain accurate electronic records and adhere to Trust policies, including data protection and confidentiality.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Doctoral level training in clinical/counselling psychology OR core mental health profession with additional therapy qualifications and accreditation (BABCP/BACP) OR qualifications in 2 or more therapy models (BABAP/BACP accredited qualifications) with minimum 3 years NHS experience.
Experience
* Experience of using psychiatric or psychological assessments.
* Experience of psychological research and/or Quality Improvement methodology.
* Experience of working with colleagues with emotional distress or mental health difficulties.
* Application of quality improvement methodology.
* Experience of recruiting to a research study.
