Job summary We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our busy admin team within Cardiac Investigations Unit at North Tyneside General Hospital. The role involves a wide variety of tasks including meeting and greeting patients and relatives on arrival to the hospital, answering telephone enquiries, recording attendances, arranging follow up appointments using PAS - Patient Administration System. Main duties of the job To assist in the general efficient running of sub-speciality offices including typing/G2transcription, filing, retrieval and storage of patient records, handling post and dealing with telephone enquiries. To cover for other Band 2 Clerical jobs as required. To act up to Band 3 for short-term absences e.g. annual/sick leave.
