The successful candidate will manage an established portfolio of large mid-market Corporate clients, nurturing and growing those relationships while supporting our wider team in securing new clients. We work within a very open and trusted culture, pulling together as a team to achieve success.
We are seeking applicants with client management experience, having managed a portfolio of large mid-market clients in previous roles. The Client Manager is the key contact with our clients, delivering Aon's depth of capabilities to meet their needs and evolving risks. You will be responsible for driving, coordinating, and managing the provision of service to clients, drawing upon designated service teams and specialist resources.
Our Corporate business in Bristol serves clients throughout the South West and Wales, and with our flexible hybrid working, this could be an opportunity for you regardless of your location in these areas. What the day will look like
The role is within our large mid-market commercial risk team, providing risk solutions to businesses across various sectors within the UK. Clients will typically be national or multinational companies seeking a tailored approach from their broker.
Our clients typically require bespoke insurance programmes and associated risk management and transfer services. Besides being the insurance broker, the Client Manager, with help from the wider team, provides clients with claims service and advice on risk management across most industries, including real estate, public sector, food and drink, retail, Health & Social Care, and wholesale.
Manage the service provided to clients and those to whom we subcontract elements of service. Ensure the highest level of service to each assigned client in line with the agreed client service tools.
Identify and introduce Aon's products and services to meet clients' needs and communicate each client's business issues to the service team and other parts of Aon.
Build client relationships with key decision-makers.
Grow the revenue and profitability of your client portfolio, including meeting annual revenue targets.
Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework and compliance with Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks that may adversely affect the business or reputation of any Group Company.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
* ACII or equivalent.
* Proven experience in the insurance industry, with experience in client relationship management and core lines of commercial risks.
* Experience managing large corporate insurance risks is desirable.
* Commercial understanding of business, including market forces, business drivers, and risks.
* Prior experience with sales, fee setting, negotiation, and influencing.
* An effective communicator and presenter.
* Client-focused with a consultative approach and commitment to excellence in client service.
