About Us
Wembley High Technology College is one of the highest performing schools in the country. Nationally, the achievement of our pupils is exceptional; in 2024, our Progress 8 score of +1.42 was one of the highest in the country. This progress from Key Stage 2 to GCSE has a transformative impact on our pupils’ life chances and last year over 50% of pupils leaving us went on to Russell Group Universities to study a range of academic subjects. The Physical Education Department
We are looking for a leader who can make a significant contribution to this thriving and successful department. All students in KS3 and 4 study Core PE and we also offer GCSE and CNAT qualifications. In addition to PE lessons, we also have a range of extracurricular clubs and teams that are extremely popular. The ideal candidate will have a proven record designing, implementing and evaluating the effectiveness of an ambitious and enriching Physical Education curriculum as well as developing the teaching of others. The successful applicant will be creative, well organised and will actively assist in the further development of Physical Education and sport within the College, contributing to the vibrant programme of extra-curricular support provided for all pupils.
