This is a full-time role, where you'll be providing 1:1 support, helping students engage, learn, and develop confidence in a calm and nurturing environment. The school takes a holistic approach to education, focusing on both academic learning and life skills.
What You'll Be Doing:
Working closely with students on a 1:1 basis, supporting their learning and well-being
Assisting with lessons and activities tailored to each pupil's needs
Helping students develop their social skills, communication, and independence
Encouraging positive behaviour and using strategies to help students feel safe and supported
Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and parents to give pupils the best possible support
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with children with ASD, ideally in an SEN setting
A patient, understanding, and flexible approach to working with young people
