Due to expanding workload, AECOM are recruiting for our rapidly growing architecture team in our multi-disciplinary offices.
We have Vacancies in Manchester and Warrington offices with experience in the below sectors would be advantageous but not essential; Industrial, Rail, Defence, Nuclear, MoJ, Logistics and Data Centres.
It is essential that candidates either hold or can obtain security clearances.

All roles require future colleagues to:
* Have a strong design and technical ability and be highly computer literate.
* Have strong Revit skills (a must) and BIM awareness.
* Be highly organised with attention to detail.
* Have architectural or technical qualifications relevant to the role.
* Preferably, you will demonstrate a wide experience within the regulated industries, and have worked previously on industrial, process driven and highly serviced projects.
* Relevant experience in other sectors, i.e. government, retail, healthcare, education, offices, laboratories, residential, transport will also be considered.
Job Description
Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Performing basic architectural and engineering calculations.
* Preparing specifications, reports, and related data tables.
* Maintaining liaison with design and drafting groups.
* Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as necessary.
* Completing design assignments of moderate to high complexity under some supervision.
* Gaining familiarity with codes, permits, and software applications pertinent to the discipline.
* Learning to prepare designs and drawings using project specifications and discipline-associated written and verbal instructions, in line with established design practices, standards, and procedures.
* Developing an intermediate to advanced understanding of the purpose and use of vendor documents.
* Being introduced to the process of performing material take-offs for the discipline.
Qualifications
* Are you proficient in using REVIT?
* Can you obtain Security Clearance?
* Do you possess experience in UK Nuclear, Defence, or Energy projects?
* Do you have the ability to manage multiple, fast-paced jobs simultaneously?
* Have you worked with multi-stakeholder clients and delivered projects within a framework?
* Do you have experience with projects in the UK and Ireland?
* Are you experienced in collaborating within multi-disciplinary design teams?
