Job summary We are looking for a highly experienced, knowledgeable and educated member of the team who is able to work autonomously within our paediatric dermatology team. You would work closely with all members of the MDT to provide comprehensive follow-up, in nurse-led clinics and joint clinics supporting the multidisciplinary management of dermatology patients. Main duties of the job The post holder will develop and provide an advisory and supportive service to patients under the Paediatric Dermatology service. They will provide education and information to children, young people and their families regarding the management and treatment of a range of dermatology conditions. As part of the team, they will work to develop the Dermatology service. They will provide patient follow-up, following a structured pathway and by monitoring email and telephone contacts, liaising effectively with all members of the multidisciplinary team, providing continuity of care into the community and throughout the patient's rehabilitation. They will act as an expert resource to professionals involved in the care of these patients both within the acute and primary care setting. The post holder will maintain oversight of the services activity, governance and clinical outcomes, working with the team on change initiatives as required.
