The company continues to thrive across Kent. Position Overview: The organisation is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Materials Buyer to join their dynamic team. This is a full-time, office-based role located in Folkestone. Key Responsibilities: Procure materials, equipment, and plant while negotiating favorable terms with suppliers. Attend site meetings to discuss procurement strategies and report on progress. Monitor price fluctuations and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders. Establish and maintain strong supply chain agreements. Collaborate with the accounts department to prevent and resolve invoice discrepancies.Requirements: The ideal candidate will demonstrate: Strong product knowledge relevant to the construction industry. A solid background in construction material procurement. The ability to accurately take off materials from technical drawings. Excellent organisational and time management skills. A positive, proactive approach to problem-solving.
