Sandown Motor Group have been awarded the Mercedes-Benz Van franchise for Dorset and are now looking to recruit a Van Technician to work alongside other professional team members. The Company Sandown Motor Group have over 30 years of experience, selling and servicing Mercedes-Benz cars. A privately owned group the Sandown name has an immensely proud heritage with Mercedes-Benz and means that they are experts in this iconic brand. Their simple goal is to deliver the most outstanding service from each of their sites in Guildford, Basingstoke, Poole, Dorchester, Salisbury, Newbury, Hindhead and Epsom. They are now delighted to be working with Mercedes-Benz Vans and have opened their new facility in Poole. The Role As a Mercedes-Benz Van Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of service operations, defined assembly operations and maintenance repairs with the highest level of quality and efficiency. You will promote the Mercedes-Benz brand image through reliable and cost-efficient work. The successful applicant will have considerable experience and will have spent much of this time working for a main dealer. About you You will be a Level 3 qualified technician, the business is happy to consider your application if you have a car background. You will have a high level of attention to detail and love working as part of a team. A full driving licence is required for this role. On Offer Hours of work; Monday to Friday, 08.00 - 17.30 (30-minute unpaid lunch break and 2 x 15-minute unpaid tea breaks). Saturday morning working on a rota basis will also be a requirement of the role, paid as additional hours. 42.5 hours per week Salary: Depending on experience: the basic salary can range from £26,520 - £41,216.50 based on a 42.5-hour week. Plus, Commission. There is also a £2,000 welcome payout for this role.
