Operations Coordinator) Assessment Specialist & Marking Coordinator\n\nSalary: £28,800 - £37,425\n\nLocation: Hybrid, Cambridge\n\nContract: Permanent, Full time (35 hours per week)\n\nAre you an organised and results-driven professional with a passion for operational excellence?\n\nCambridge International is looking for a motivated AS & Marking Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth delivery of Cambridge International assessments, working closely with both internal teams and external examiners to ensure candidates receive accurate results on time.\n\nAbout the role\n\nAs an AS & Marking Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing operational tasks linked to our annual exam series, including coordinating assessor panels, allocating resources, and overseeing marking processes. You will ensure that all activities are carried out efficiently, on time, and in compliance with regulatory standards.\n\nThis is a hands-on role that requires exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
You will also be expected to make informed decisions, monitor team performance, and suggest improvements to drive operational efficiency. Your work will directly contribute to the success of the AS & Marking team and the timely delivery of accurate results for our candidates.\n\nAbout you\n\nWe're looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You'll be a proactive problem-solver with the ability to manage multiple priorities and make informed decisions under pressure.\n\nYou'll have excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders, both internally and externally.
With experience in managing or leading teams, you'll be adept at motivating and supporting others to achieve their goals. You'll be comfortable overseeing day-to-day operations, allocating tasks, and driving performance within your team.\n\nYou'll also be able to use data to track performance, implement improvements, and ensure that operational standards are consistently met.
