Warehouse Operative - Nightshift
£33,969 Annual Salary, p/h inc. shift pay allowance, plus a great range of benefits
Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday -
As well as an eye for detail, you’ll need to be comfortable in a cool environment as freezer and chiller is required in this job role(we’ll provide a free thermal uniform to keep you warm), have your own transport to get here and ideally have a driving licence. We are currently seeking a physically fit and motivated individual to join our team as a Warehouse Operative. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks including picking, packing, shunting, and loading HGV vehicles.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently pick and pack orders according to company standards and customer requirements.
• Handle manual materials and products throughout the warehouse in both Frozen and chill areas, ensuring accuracy and safety at all times.
• Shunt and load HGV vehicles in the yard, utilising appropriate equipment and following established procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with team managers to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
• Valid car license essential, as shunter training will be provided.
