Job summary
Act as an integral member of the maternity department providing a range of clerical and reception duties ensuring an efficient and effective service within Maternity Services and preserving the inpatient reception.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for liaising directly with patients and their relatives. Good IT skills and an excellent telephone manner are vital to this role.
You will be required to communicate in a professional manner with a range of professionals within the maternity team, such as Midwives, Obstetricians and Anaesthetists among others.
