Location: Flexible, with some travel to our Life Head Office in Swindon Closing date for applications: 6th September 2024 The opportunity: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Retail Protection Proposition Management Manager to join the team responsible for maintaining Zurich’s individual protection products, ensuring they meet our customers’ needs and Zurich’s compliance with Consumer Duty regulation. The role offers a large degree of autonomy and the opportunity to work closely with the Head of Product Development and other Protection Specialists to ensure we continue to deliver and evidence good customer outcomes. We are looking for a customer centric minded individual, with a strong understanding of the UK Life regulatory landscape, to work with product owners and subject matter experts from across the business to evolve and lead the execution of our proposition management process. This will involve a complete end to end customer journey approach including the review of key performance indicators and other customer experience touch points to ensure that our protection propositions consistently deliver good customer outcomes. Including definition and leadership of any investigations into any areas of concern and/or identifying continuous improvement opportunities that would benefit our customers, advisers or shareholders. What will you be doing? The primary purpose is to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance for our open to new business individual protection products. With particular focus on compliance with FCA Consumer Duty regulation. In addition, the role will support our strategic objectives by ensuring that any risks to good customer outcomes are effectively managed and potential areas for improvement are identified and fed into our proposition development process. An excellent understanding of the analysis of customer outcome qualitative & quantitative data and key business metrics will be essential to consistently identify areas of potential concern and/or opportunities for improvement. What are we looking for? Strong experience of the UK Retail Protection market, with a deep understanding of the advised and ideally the non-advised market. Excellent understanding of the UK Life regulatory landscape. Proven track record of working in and leading successful proposition management activity. A self-starter who is persistent to overcome obstacles and challenges to meet customer needs. Very comfortable using and interpreting data, MI, research, customer and adviser feedback to evidence good customer outcomes as well as identify potential proposition improvements. Provide Retail Protection market specific technical advice and counsel across the business. Provide guidance and support for team members and wider business.
