One Air is seeking a highly skilled Aviation Operations Support Specialist to join our team at our Hampton Wick office, with occasional travel to third-party training providers and operational bases. This role offers a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the safe and efficient planning of operations, focusing on flight planning and performance, as part of a collaborative effort with the DFO and Flight Support Manager.
* Assume responsibility for EFB Administrator duties, ensuring seamless aircraft operation by guaranteeing reliable, safe, compliant, resilient, and efficient performance of the Electronic Flight Bag system.
* Provide technical support to OCC and Ground Operations in matters related to flight planning and performance.
* Collaborate with Commercial to assess route viability and performance concerning route and airport planning.
* Manage all suppliers for flight support, including electronic documentation, navigation, performance, databases, etc.
* Contribute to Route and Airfield analysis execution and briefing production.
* Maintain Aircraft Navigation and Terrain databases according to the route network.
* Liaise with Flight Support Manager and crew regarding efficient operations and changes to route and airport planning.
* Offer technical support or input to flight safety investigations.
* Assist in the administration of the EFB system.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of experience in Worldwide Aircraft Operations or Commercial Pilot License.
* Operational experience of aircraft performance and navigation in an airline environment.
* Familiarity with approved system hardware, Operating System, and operational applications, as well as regulatory requirements related to EFB systems.
* Knowledge of EFB Policy and Procedures, as well as EFB regulations under Competent Authority.
* A level standard education or similar, combined with excellent all-round communications skills.
* A team player with excellent planning & organisation skills.
