About the Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide valuable support to students, helping them to engage with lessons and reach their full potential. Your role will involve working with small groups or one-to-one with pupils who need additional support, as well as assisting with classroom activities and maintaining a positive learning environment. Key Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant Support teachers in delivering engaging and structured lessons. Work with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups to provide additional support. Help to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Assist with classroom management and maintaining student focus. Provide encouragement and guidance to help build pupils’ confidence and independence. Support children with special educational needs (SEN) where required. Assist in preparing classroom resources and setting up activities. What We’re Looking For Experience working with children in an educational or care setting is desirable but not essential.
