As a Trade Assistant at Finseta, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of client operations. You will be responsible for handling various administrative and operational tasks, including client onboarding, payment setups, invoice requests, and liaising with internal teams to ensure compliance and timely settlements. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Client Onboarding:
* Assist in the end-to-end onboarding process for new clients, ensuring all required documentation is complete and compliant with company standards.
Payment Setup:
* Set up payment instructions for client accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely execution of payments.
* Facilitate the addition of new beneficiaries for clients, verifying details and ensuring all necessary checks are in place.
* Reach out to clients to request and collect necessary invoices, ensuring proper documentation for payments and settlements.
Client Communication:
* Act as the primary point of contact for answering the main phone line, addressing client queries, and directing calls to the appropriate department.
Client Statements:
* Obtain client statements as needed, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of the requested documents.
* Collaborate with the compliance team to send lists of outstanding invoices and settlement details. Ensure all compliance requirements are met for transactions.
Settlements and Reminders:
* Follow up on outstanding settlements, including sending reminders for payment confirmations and other trade settlement tasks.
Qualifications and Experience (must have):
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred but not essential
* Previous experience in trade support, client services, or a similar role within financial services desirable but not essential
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a client-first approach.
* Ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple teams (compliance, finance, operations).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with financial software is an advantage.
