Riddrievale House provides short break respite for up to nine adults with learning disabilities in a comfortable, relaxing environment. When people come to stay with us, they are on holiday, and we try to make it as fun as possible.
We are looking to recruit a Cook to join our busy team. The successful candidate will be required to prepare, cook, and serve nutritious, appetising, and varied meals to the individuals we support, ensuring that you meet specific dietary requirements and daily deadlines. You will ensure the kitchen area and store cupboards are kept to the standard required of the current Food Safety Legislation by means of cleaning schedules. You will also be responsible for the ordering of foodstuffs, supplies and operate a stock control system, ensuring value for money. The work pattern for this position will be agreed with the successful candidate. A relevant catering qualification and have knowledge of Cook safe and Infection Control is essential.
