What you will be doing Depending on your level of experience, you will have the opportunity to get involved in the following types of work: Providing advice and guidance to our operational nuclear facilities Guiding project teams to develop our future nuclear facilities Designing and delivering radiological training Assessing radiological hazards and designing control measures Other radiological work such as radioactive waste management, Class 7 Dangerous Goods advice, emergency response Who we’re looking for: At Rolls-Royce we put safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple and make a difference. To be successful in this role you will need to have: Completed a STEM based degree or have an equivalent level of experience in the nuclear sector Completed recognised Health Physicist training or be willing to undergo such training as part of an accelerated development programme Experience of working in radiological environments, ideally within the nuclear industry Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written forms Motivation to develop your own career and support the wider radiation protection team We are an equal opportunities employer.
