Key Responsibilities:
1. Designing and managing infrastructure projects, with a focus on drainage and highways
2. Overseeing the adoption processes for roads and drainage, including S278, S38, and S104 agreements
3. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project delivery within stipulated timelines and budgets
4. Preparing and reviewing technical reports and ensuring compliance with national design standards and best practice
5. Mentoring junior members of staff and providing technical guidance
6. Utilising software packages such as AutoCAD, Civils 3D, Vehicle Tracking, KeyLINES/SIGN/POST, and Flow
7. Maintaining strong communication and organisational skills to manage records and project documentation
Job Requirements:
1. Experience in infrastructure projects
2. Knowledge of national design standards and best practice (i.e. DMRB, Manual for Streets, LTN1/20, NRSWA etc)
3. Understanding of adoption agreements for roads and drainage (S278, S38 & S104)
4. Proficiency in relevant software packages (AutoCAD, Civils 3D, Vehicle Tracking, KeyLINES/SIGN/POST and Flow)
5. Strong communication and organisational skills
6. Ability to manage tasks to deliver projects on time and within budget
7. Ability to mentor junior staff and produce technical reports
8. Understanding of the legal requirements related to highway and drainage adoption processes
