Job Description:
We are currently assisting the Educational Partnership North East in their search for Placement Officers on a Full-time, term-time, Permanent basis.
Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours.
Salary: £24,210 – £26,982 Per annum.
Job Duties:
* Facilitate industry placements for students within the Health and Care curriculum.
* Develop and maintain relationships with employers to secure placement opportunities.
* Coordinate placement schedules and ensure a smooth placement process for students.
* Provide guidance and support to students throughout the placement period.
* Monitor and evaluate students’ progress during placements.
* Collaborate with academic staff to align placement experiences with the curriculum.
* Maintain accurate records of placements and student feedback.
Required Qualifications:
* A relevant vocational qualification
* An assessing or verifier qualification
* Demonstrated experience in coordinating industry placements or similar roles.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of the education sector and industry placement processes.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with employers.
* Proficient in record-keeping and data management.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Working Conditions:
The Industry Placement Officer will work primarily in an office setting within an educational institution. Some travel may be required to visit employer partners and attend industry events.
