The role As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for reporting to the Programme Manager to help establish and implement quality management processes across all departments forming the Programme Client team. Appropriate quality standards, processes, and procedures will be developed in parallel with maturing the Programme Management System. You will also work in partnership with the corresponding representative to ensure past learning is incorporated into future works, and best practice is shared across all aspects of the Infrastructure Programme. This role has been deemed inside IR35 Duration: 12 Months Glasgow (Tuesday – Thursday Your duties and responsibilities will be Provide quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) support and expertise to the Programme Project Teams to support right first-time delivery. Foster a site quality presence at to develop good working relationships with Suppliers / Site Stakeholders and support the Client site project team. Support the identification and flow-down of Client quality requirements to the supply chain. Work collaboratively with quality to ensure that all learning from experience (LFE) is captured, shared and incorporated into future works / shared across all aspects of the Programme. Support the Quality Manager / Project Management and Functional Leads in establishing the necessary project procedures, processes and plans to meet Programme requirements. Review enquiry, tender and contract documentation (e.g. ITP’s, Quality Plans, Specifications) with respect to quality requirements and Client specific contract specifications. Conducting internal quality and supplier audits / health checks in accordance with the agreed audit schedule to verify compliance with procedures and identify process improvements. Monitoring quality performance against any agreed KPIs / criteria and identify areas of concern. Monitoring product quality verification activities including surveillance of Supplier site installation / manufacturing, Factory Acceptance Tests, Release Inspections Supporting the capture and tracking of quality-related risks and opportunities, non-conformances (NCR’s) and Defect Notifications. Conducting quality investigations, root cause analysis, internal process performance improvement activities and supplier escalation or intervention. Working with key project functions to specify Lifetime Quality Records content and coordinate the collation, review and approval of final document packs by Suppliers. Proactively liaise with any Third-Party representatives and Government Quality Assurance Representatives (GQAR) where required.You will have the following qualifications and experience SC Clearance (or ability to gain prior to commencing employment). Industry recognised auditor qualification e.g. ISO 9001 Lead / Internal.
