Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator, Chargehand, or Supervisor to join our dynamic manufacturing team as our new Press Brake Leader. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating press brake machinery. This role is crucial for the fabrication of sheet metal components, ensuring precision and quality in every product. You should have an eye for detail, great people skills, and be computer savvy.
Responsibilities
1. Preparing the work for the team.
2. Attending production meetings.
3. Ensuring apprentices are coached.
4. Conducting regular maintenance on equipment to ensure reliability and safety.
5. Performing quality checks on finished products, utilizing basic maths skills to verify measurements.
6. Keeping KPIs up to date and driving growth.
7. Collaborating with team members to improve production efficiency and resolve any operational issues.
Experience
1. Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
2. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
3. Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes and tooling setup.
4. Proficient in using hand tools and measuring instruments.
We use the latest available equipment in the industry. Your team's equipment consists of 8 Amada press brakes and 2 Salvagninis.
