PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO THE SOUTH WALES PARTNERSHIP
The South Wales Partnership is a collection of over 30 schools from across South Wales who work collaboratively to share best practice, identify areas for development and training, and research new and innovative ways of ensuring pupils' learning experiences at their schools ensure the best outcomes.
A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen within the Partnership for a person with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills to support the work of the partnership. Mainly based at Dylan Thomas Community School, you will be required on occasion to organise and attend meetings at venues across South Wales. The successful candidate will have excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise their own workload.
This is a busy post with changing daily activities including managing diary appointments, dealing with correspondence and telephone calls, arranging meetings, producing high-quality documentation, and other duties that are commensurate with the role. In addition, the successful candidate will assist in the organisation of meetings and processes, some of which take place after school hours. Other aspects of the role will include, but are not limited to, website design, creating social media content, grant funding applications, ordering and invoicing, and corporate sponsorship.
This is a term-time only role; however, applicants will need to have a flexible approach to occasional work during holiday periods, which will be mutually agreed in advance.
The South Wales Partnership is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. Successful candidates are subject to an enhanced DBS.
