Job description
As the Enforcement Estate Transformation Lead, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and overseeing the rationalisation of DVSA's estate, with a focus on the Enforcement Estate Transformation.
Your primary responsibility will be to align the estate strategy with the operational needs of the Enforcement Directorate, ensuring that transformational initiatives support the delivery of the Enforcement Strategy while achieving efficiency savings and value for money.
You will be tasked with building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across the DVSA and beyond, ensuring a cohesive and collaborative approach to estate rationalisation.
Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that business requirements are met, and that the transition process is seamless and compliant with relevant policies, legislation, and regulations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Maintain focus on Enforcement Estate Transformation to guide and oversee rationalisation activities.
2. Align estate strategy with operational needs within the Enforcement Directorate.
3. Ensure transformational initiatives support the Enforcement Strategy.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external.
5. Use Enforcement expertise to ensure business requirements can be met and the transition process is seamless and compliant with relevant policies, legislation, and regulations.
6. Create, maintain, and manage data sources to monitor processes and inform Corporate Senior Leaders on progress.

Person specification
To be successful in this position you will have:
7. Comprehensive knowledge of Enforcement activities, approaches, and the Enforcement Estates Strategy.
8. Experience in a management role within Enforcement or a similar department.
9. Strong background in Communication and Stakeholder Management.
10. Proven experience representing your department at a senior level, both internally and externally.
11. Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workloads effectively.
12. Expertise in understanding, translating, and communicating user needs clearly and concisely.
13. Strong influencing skills at all levels across directorates and businesses.
14. Experience in creating and managing data sources.
Additional Information
This role can be based in, ,,, or, your presence at one of these locations will form part of the working arrangements agreed with you. We operate a hybrid working model giving you greater flexibility about where and when you work. Our expectation is that you will spend a minimum 60% of your time at your base location. Visits to other DVSA sites or work locations count towards this.
During your application, you should indicate which location(s) you wish to be considered for and, if successful, you will be placed on an individual list of candidates for each location. Candidates will be held on that list and drawn from it in merit order. We advise you to carefully consider which locations you wish to be considered for. If you decline an offer for a location, you have expressed a preference in or have expressed an interest in more than one location and accept an offer, you will be withdrawn from any lists you may be held on. Whilst we welcome applications from those looking to work with us on a part time basis, there is a business requirement, for the successful candidate to be able to work at least 30 hours per week.

Full UK Drivers Licence.
Qualifications
Agile or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification, or the ability to attain within 6 months of commencing the role.
