Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Repairs Scheduler / Operations Administrator in Basildon. The Operations Administrator will be responsible for day-to-day administrative tasks, assisting with operations management, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring smooth operations within the company. You will be planning the diaries of all wet trades.
We are based in Basildon, covering all areas of London and Essex. Working for both domestic and commercial customers, we offer an extensive range of services, including all plumbing services and 24/7 emergency call-out with no call-out charge. We also offer planned preventative maintenance programs tailored to suit your organisation/premises.

9. High pressure jetting
10. Drain relining
11. Lateral cutting
12. Root cutting
13. Drain sonar tracing & Mapping
14. Drains repaired
15. Plumbing
16. Cold Water Booster Pumps
17. Sewage Pumps
Day to Day Responsibilities:
1. Schedule works into diaries for operatives daily ensuring diaries are full and immediate attention is given to allocate work to operatives when they become free.
2. Check the system for emergencies and manage within a timely manner to ensure targets are met.
3. Respond to telephone variations by seeking approval from the duty surveyor so operatives may continue on the site through to completion.
4. Provide a high-quality service to our client on a face-to-face basis.
5. Work within a team to achieve goals and targets, achieving daily targets of a minimum of 60 allocations each day of new orders.
Essential Criteria:
1. Social Housing and Repair and Maintenance background.
2. Experience in planning/scheduling jobs using a planning system.
3. Understanding of the various trades and jobs normally allocated to direct labour staff or subcontractors.
4. Experience of trade job durations.
5. Experience of health and safety considerations when planning e.g. asbestos.
6. No hybrid working; must be able to work from an office located in Basildon.
7. Good level of written English e.g. ability to write responses to complaints.
8. Good computer skills.
