JOB SUMMARY
Under general supervision of the EMEA Service Manager, you will be working in the UK service lab in High Wycombe. The job will mainly concern the servicing, repair, and calibration of hand-held or bench-top TSI measuring and monitoring instruments. However, there will be scope to work with other instrumentation from time to time.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assess the customers' instruments on arrival into the service lab.
2. Keep records, both in SAP and other systems, of all operations carried out.
3. Carry out service, repairs, and calibrations to customers' instruments following TSI in-house work procedures.
4. Communicate well with other members of the service team to help provide efficient service to our customers.
5. Complete other assignments and special projects as requested.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. Education:
2. Basic education in Mathematics, English, and science.
3. College certificate in electronics servicing or similar.
4. Experience:
5. 1 or 2 years in the instrument service sector is essential.
6. Core Competencies:
7. Good computer literacy; accuracy is of paramount importance here.
8. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
9. Above-average analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, and research skills.
10. GCSE or equivalent level language, math, reading, writing, and reasoning skills.
11. Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
