Wayman Group is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced French teacher to join a brilliant independent school in Enfield. This is a full-time position with an anticipated start date in April. As a French teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in the field of French language and culture. Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging French lessons to students in accordance with the school's curriculum
* Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to ensure effective learning experiences
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and support as needed
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and supports student well-being
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective instructional strategies
* Participate in department meetings and professional development opportunities
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assessments
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in French or a related field
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Proven experience teaching French to primary or secondary school students
* Excellent command of the French language, both written and verbal
* Strong knowledge and understanding of the French curriculum and assessment frameworks
* Ability to effectively differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
* Organized, punctual, and able to manage time effectively
* Familiarity with current educational technology and learning tools
* Valid work authorization to work in the United Kingdom
