The post holder will work as a member of (PCN) Primary Care Network 3, which is made up of 7 GP practices based in North London, working for their general practice team and under the supervision of the registered nurses to both organise and facilitate care to provide holistic and proactive care to patients registered at the practice.
The tasks listed in this job role could be included but are not limited to them. This role may evolve in line with the practices and PCN requirements.
Starting salary: £30,000 negotiable based on experience.
Option if interested to also work Saturday and evenings as part of an Extended Access service.

Barnet Federated GPs is a rapidly growing GP Federation whose shareholders include all 46 practices in Barnet, covering over 425,000 patients. Within this, we are divided into 7 Primary Care Networks (PCNs), each with its own leadership structure. Barnet Federated GPs is made up of a small, office-based team along with some clinical and non-clinical staff whom we employ on behalf of the PCNs. Job responsibilities
Working under the supervision of the PCN and Training Hub nurses and strictly in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols, the nursing associate will assist the PCN clinical team in the provision and delivery of prescribed programmes of patient care. This role may evolve in line with the practices and PCN requirements.
Person Specification
Experience
* Understanding of the scope of the role of the Nursing Associate in context of the nursing and interdisciplinary team and the organisation, and how the role may contribute to service development.
* Understands and acts in line with NMC professional standards for practice contained within The Code.
* Knowledge of when to seek advice and escalate to the appropriate professional for expert help and advice.
* Understand requirements for NMC professional Revalidation.
* Understanding of the importance of following procedures and treatment plans.
* Significant experience working in a healthcare environment as part of a team.
* Experience working as a Health Care Support Worker.
* Experience of using clinical systems.
Qualifications
* Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register.
* GCSE Grade A-C in Maths & English or skills level 2 Maths & English or equivalent.
