gap healthcare is working with alarge-sized charity organisationthat supports children and young people on the edge of care, in care, and leaving care. We are seeking a dedicated and experiencedRegistered Managerto lead two solo therapeutic services in Bury St Edmunds, providing high-quality residential care and fostering a trauma-informed environment where young people can thrive. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate leader to make a lasting impact on the lives of children with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership and management for residential services, creating a nurturing, inclusive environment
* Ensure compliance withOfsted regulationsand all legislative requirements
* Lead and develop a trauma-informed team to support young people who have experienced multiple placement breakdowns
* Oversee care planning, risk management, and safeguarding procedures
* Build strong partnerships with families, social workers, mental health professionals, and other external agencies
* Manage resources effectively, including staff rotas, budgets, and staff development
Requirements:
* Relevant Level 3 qualification in childcare or equivalent
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care(or willingness to complete within 2 years)
* Minimum of 2 years experience in residential care for children within the last 5 years
* At least 1 year of experience managing or supervising a team in a care setting
* Strong understanding ofChildrens Homes Regulations, safeguarding practices, and trauma-informed care
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
