We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives within Bagging, Drying, Intake and Flavoured Milk departments at Muller Severnside.
The purpose of this role is to undertake relevant Production duties to ensure smooth running of operations and delivery of the daily Production Plan.
The Ideal candidate would be hard working, a quick learner and have production experience within a food manufacturing environment; however, food manufacturing experience isn’t a requirement.
Contract: Full Time / Perm
Salary: £32,823.98 Per Annum
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off 2 days 2 nights (6-6)
Location: Severnside - Stroud
Responsibilities:
* Follow all relevant legal compliance, and company policies and procedures.
* Take responsibility for performance compliance.
* Demonstrate and promote the company values and principles.
* Actively undertake any training and development to provide effective succession planning and develop a high performing team.
* Work with the team to identify, implement and sustain cost-saving initiatives.
* Deliver business initiatives to reduce waste.
* Ensure all dairy plant and equipment is appropriately cared for by raising issues to Team Leader.
* Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene standards and requirements.
* Ensure all quality system controls and procedures are followed effectively to maintain product integrity.
* Demonstrate commitment to Health & Safety by appropriately challenging unsafe practices, raising hazards and responding promptly and effectively to all hazards raised by others.
* Actively support and encourage all relevant group Health & Safety initiatives.
