The school caters to a diverse group of students aged 11-16 and focuses on providing small group and tailored individual learning experiences. The Role:
* Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire students to make significant progress
* Tailor teaching to meet individual needs, ensuring all learning goals lead to defined endpoints
* Set clear, measurable targets for student progress, taking into account prior attainment and individual requirements
* Ensure that all lessons are accessible, enjoyable, and support long-term retention of key concepts
* Develop and implement strategies to meet the special educational needs of students
* Occasionally engage with students on offsite interventions, requiring the ability to drive and access to your own car
About You:
* Qualified teacher preferred, though candidates with other recognised teaching qualifications and proven experience will be considered
* Passionate about working with students who have SEN, as well as emotional and behavioural challenges
* Skilled in delivering lessons that are not only informative but also inspiring and engaging
* A firm commitment to positive behaviour management
* Resilient, flexible, and adaptable to changing circumstances
