Entity: Supply, Trading & Shipping Job Family Group: Retail Group Job Description: We are looking for a Senior Fuel Pricing Analyst to join our Supply, Trading & Shipping (T&S) team as we strive to transform and connect the global energy market. The B2B & Fleet Senior Fuel Pricing Analyst will be responsible for the evolution of pricing support for the Dealer and Midstream teams, enhancing pricing decision-making for both dealer sales and the B2B business. Additionally, this role owns the operational aspects of fleet pricing. This position plays a critical role in developing and implementing a pricing strategy for the UK dealer and B2B businesses. A key part of the role is working collaboratively with different teams to ensure optimal availability of data and databases, enabling margin optimization opportunities. Reporting to the UK Pricing Manager, you will be empowered to: Develop and own the pricing framework for the dealer business and ensure compliance through active involvement in offer approvals. Collect and analyse data to understand market conditions, competitor tactics, and cost/margin trends in the dealer business. Build pricing reports for the wider team to track trends and assess impact. Use data to identify and implement incremental margin opportunities in the dealer business. Set recommended pump prices for margin share dealer sites, in line with the pricing framework. Lead the development of a replacement model for dealer pricing. Support the evolution of B2B pricing in the UK, ensuring best practices are embedded as the business grows. Develop and own a B2B pricing framework, including pricing approvals for HVO opportunities. Evaluate key cost levers within the midstream business, identify potential future risks, and develop mitigation plans across the dealer and fleet businesses. Own, automate, and optimise operational aspects of fleet pricing. What you bring - Requirements for the role include: Experience in B2B or fleet pricing, with strong commercial competence and direct customer-facing exposure in a pricing or sales environment Excellent communication and customer engagement skills, with a collaborative approach across commercial, sales, and supply chain teams. Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with pricing models, frameworks, and automated tools. Strong analytical and data-driven approach, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into pricing recommendations. Experience working with ERP and visualisation tools (e.g. SAP, Power BI); exposure to data science or modelling is desirable Knowledge of value-based pricing and/or retail fuels market dynamics is desirable.
