Job Description
Our innovative manufacturing client is about to embark on the full life cycle implementation of SAP S/4HANA and is looking to appoint an SAP Procurement & Supply Chain Analyst.
The SAP Procurement & Supply Chain Analyst will play a key role in leading the SAP S/4HANA rollout for the Supply Chain and Procurement teams within our client's rapidly growing business. They will analyse current end-to-end Procurement and Supply Chain processes and work closely with the SAP Business Partner and internal functional teams on systems configuration, data migration, and end-to-end user acceptance testing.
This is a permanent role and post-go-live, the SAP Procurement & Supply Chain Analyst will report to the Purchasing Manager, focusing on continuous process and data improvement, maintenance of the system, and exploring opportunities that arise from the roadmap.
Responsibilities of the role will involve:
* Defining and documenting SAP transactions and processes.
* Determining how to integrate SAP software programs to enhance targeted business processes.
* Analysing the feasibility of, and developing requirements for, new systems and enhancements.
* Providing SAP end-user training and support.
* Documenting SAP processes and preparing progress reports.
* Unit and integration testing and troubleshooting.
* Liaising with process owners, project consultants, and vendors.
Knowledge and experience required for the role:
* Experience in using or implementing SAP S/4HANA is essential.
* Proven experience working with Supply Chain Procurement, with a track record of delivering successful SAP S/4HANA implementations and optimisations.
* Proven experience as a SAP Business Analyst who has worked in Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction, or Manufacturing sectors.
* Solid knowledge of relevant business processes and their integration with SAP systems.
* Superb collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and present data effectively.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
This is a hybrid role with an expected a minimum of 3 days on-site, but given the project engagement, this may increase at certain points of the lifecycle of the project.
