About the Role: Deliver engaging and varied Humanities lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a primary focus on either History or Geography depending on your specialism. Develop and implement stimulating lesson plans that encourage critical thinking, inquiry-based learning, and an appreciation for the interconnectedness of the humanities subjects. Assess student progress through a range of assessment methods, providing constructive feedback. Contribute to the development of the Humanities curriculum and participate in departmental initiatives. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Humanities, History, or Geography. A strong knowledge of the secondary Humanities curriculum and effective teaching methodologies in either History or Geography. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students in discussions and inquiry.
