About the Team:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing team serving clients across Higher Education and Science, Residential, Workspace, and Warehouses & Logistics sectors.
Our Cambridge office is well connected to public transport infrastructure and has ample provision for cyclists.
About the Role:
You will be based in our Cambridge office, working on projects across Higher Education and Science, Residential, Workspace, and Warehouses & Logistics sectors.
As a structural engineer, you will establish a sound understanding of the client brief, using your technical skills to support the project team.
You will be responsible for delivering assigned tasks while acting under minimal supervision, planning your own work to meet given objectives.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Implement project requirements to fully meet client specifications in accordance with relevant standards
* Prepare discipline designs, drawings, and schedules as identified in the Project Quality Plan
* Plan and prepare scheme evaluations, design statements, tender documents, and reports on assigned projects
* Design, manage, and prepare interpretation of ground investigation contracts
* Carry out other duties as identified in the Project Quality Plan on assigned projects
Essential Requirements:
* Relevant degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
* Previous experience in an engineering organisation
* Experience working on building structures projects, design, calculations, and consulting
* Minimum 2 years post-grad experience
