Governors, Staff and Pupils at Crindau Primary School are excited to have a teaching vacancy for September 2024.
We are looking for a teacher who:
1. Is a reflective practitioner
2. Is highly motivated and has an enthusiasm for professional learning
3. Is caring and able to nurture children to achieve their full potential
4. Is committed to providing engaging, authentic and challenging learning opportunities for all pupils
5. Recognises the vital role wellbeing, literacy, numeracy and digital skills are, as a foundation for all learning
6. Is able to contribute to our curriculum design
7. Is a committed team player and role model, who is able to lead and empower children and colleagues
8. Understands how pupils learn and skilfully provides experiences to ensure pupils make progress
9. Is able to build relationships of mutual respect with the children, parents, staff, the Governing Body and the school community
10. Is able to bring energy and be driven to fulfil the role to the best of their ability
11. Is passionate and enthusiastic about teaching
12. Uses a wide range of creative, innovative teaching methods to motivate and inspire children
13. Has highly effective classroom management strategies
14. Will work effectively as part of a team within the classroom and throughout school
15. Is willing to work in all year groups including our Learning Resource Base classes
16. Has knowledge of and is committed to new ALN procedures
17. Has the ability to be resilient under pressure and remain positive and enthusiastic
18. Will enhance the curriculum provision for the children by delivering extracurricular activities

The appointment process will involve an interview, a written task and a lesson observation.
EWC Registration: It is a statutory requirement that applicants for these posts have to be registered with the Education Workforce Council before they can start work in the school.
Closing date for applications: Midday on Thursday 30th May 2024.
Shortlisting: 3rd June 2024
Lesson observations: 6th and 7th June
Interviews: Will take place the week of 10th June 2024
