What you will do in your working day
* Repair, maintain, and install plant equipment.
* Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on our large stamping press and robotic welding machinery.
* Manage machinery breakdowns and repairs, prioritising and working efficiently to reduce production downtime.
* Diagnose equipment faults, consulting with other members of the maintenance team for assistance if required.
* Collaborate with management to arrange scheduled downtime for production equipment.
The training you will be getting
Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Training will be completed at Gloucestershire Engineering Training (GET) in Gloucester.
* Year 1: Full-time at GET
* Years 2 to 4: Full-time at G-TEM with day release to GET
