Portfolio Assistant
Location: Girton, Cambridge
Job Purpose:
Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Portfolio Assistant to support their Investment Management team in delivering exceptional service to their clients. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a dynamic investment environment and contribute to the success of their client portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative support across the trade implementation process and daily investment activities, including trade support, rebalancing, corporate actions, and client reporting.
* Assist with portfolio monitoring, performance tracking, model changes, and internal management information.
* Build and maintain strong relationships between Advisors and the Investment team, offering ad hoc support when required.
* Stay informed about UK and global financial markets, economic trends, and current events.
* Develop a solid understanding of financial products and investment strategies tailored to individual and corporate clients.
* Attend Investment Committee meetings, take meeting notes, and contribute to strategic discussions.
* Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as internal policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Strong academic background.
* CII Level 4 or equivalent
* 1+ years of relevant experience (desirable but not essential).
* Proficiency in Excel and strong communication skills.
* A proactive approach to continuous learning, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving.
