We are looking for a dedicated SEMH Support Assistant to join our team. In this full-time, temporary role, you will support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide support to students with SEMH needs.
2. Assist in managing emotional and behavioural challenges.
3. Help implement individual support plans.
4. Promote positive behaviour and well-being.
5. Record and report progress.
Requirements:
1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
2. Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
3. A positive, flexible attitude with a willingness to learn.
4. Previous experience in a support role is an advantage but not essential.
5. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
