Position Details: Location: East Grinstead, West Sussex Contract Type: Full-time, Long-Term, or Permanent Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possibleYour Role as a Geography Teacher: As a Geography Teacher, you will: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Geography lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. Inspire students to explore both physical and human geography topics, fostering curiosity about the world around them. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support their academic growth. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Geography curriculum and develop innovative teaching strategies. Encourage students to understand global issues such as climate change, urbanization, and sustainability. Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and contribute to the wider school community.What We're Looking For: We're keen to hear from candidates who: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Have a strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Geography. Are able to engage students of all abilities and inspire a love for the subject. Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
