About the opportunity
We are the Design and Engineering partner for Sellafield under the PPP (Programme and Project Partners), a 20-year arrangement overseeing approximately £7bn of major projects. We seek high-value expertise from regulated and comparable sectors to work collaboratively. PPP delivers major projects, site-wide improvements, and supporting services.
Our team provides front-end design and engineering capabilities across the PPP portfolio. We are currently hiring a CS&A Designer to join our team in Birchwood Park, Warrington.
Due to an expanding project portfolio, we need a Civil/Structural Designer to deliver engineering design work packages through concept, preliminary, and detailed design for civil and structural solutions such as reinforced concrete vault structures, steel overbuildings, link bridges, ducts, and trenches.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Delivering complete design concepts from initial scheme definition.
2. Producing plans, sections, details, and design documents using appropriate software.
3. Participating in technical meetings.
4. Having experience in civil/structural design solutions for both greenfield and brownfield projects.
5. Possessing relevant qualifications in Civil/Structural Engineering (e.g., BSc, HND, HNC).
6. Understanding Construction Design and Management Regulations (CDM).
7. Using CAD packages, REVIT, Navisworks.
