Reporting to the Business Development Director, you will be responsible for driving new business by identifying, engaging, and securing corporate clients. The role focuses on expanding LDN Apprenticeships’ market reach by establishing partnerships that support clients’ workforce development needs. Responsibilities include: Identify and engage with potential corporate clients, focusing on organisations that align with LDN’s apprenticeship pathways and develop solutions to meet them. Conduct targeted outreach through networking events, industry forums, and direct prospecting to generate interest and build a robust pipeline of prospective clients. Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, showcasing the benefits of LDN’s apprenticeship programmes in meeting workforce needs. Prepare tailored proposals and negotiate agreements that meet both LDN’s revenue goals and client expectations. Track and analyse revenue growth activities, using CRM data to identify trends and optimise sales strategies for continuous improvement. Collaborate on events, webinars, and other promotional activities that increase LDN’s visibility and drive engagement with prospective clients. Regularly review and update the sales pipeline, providing accurate forecasts and ensuring transparency in business development activities. For this role you must have Previous experience in business development, sales, or partnership roles, ideally within apprenticeships, education, or workforce development. Ability to adopt a consultative sales approach, understanding client needs and positioning relevant solutions to meet those needs. Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets through proactive client acquisition and lead generation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of delivering impactful presentations to diverse audiences. Highly organised with experience managing sales pipelines and maintaining detailed records in CRM systems. Results-focused, with the ability to stay motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Demonstrates commitment to our values and expected behaviours.
