The Company

Their cutting-edge technology ensures optimal performance, reliability, and safety in the most demanding environments. They are now seeking an experienced and dynamic General Sales Manager to lead their sales operations and drive business development initiatives.
Role Overview: As the General Sales Manager, you will take full responsibility for the sales strategy and business development of the products and solutions across key markets.
You will oversee all sales activities, manage Profit & Loss (P&L), and lead the sales strategy. You will play a key role in expanding full market presence and driving revenue growth within the emergency services, blue light, and military vehicle sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Report to main board
* Take ownership of the sales strategy, P&L management, and all commercial activities.
* Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand market share within the target sectors.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
* Develop and implement business development strategies to penetrate new markets.
* Provide accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and market insights to senior leadership.
* Collaborate with engineering, production, and marketing teams to ensure solutions meet customer requirements.
* Monitor industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to stay ahead of the competition.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in a senior sales or business development role, ideally within the electrical power solutions or automotive sector.
* Sound electrical engineering know how.
* Demonstrated success in managing P&L responsibilities and driving sales growth.
* A preference in understanding the emergency services, blue light, and/or military vehicle markets, however not essential.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
* Ability to develop strategic sales plans and execute on business development initiatives.
* A results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
