Job Description
Based near Belfast our client distributes a range of construction equipment and agricultural plant.
They are currently seeking a Service Manager to oversee the daily running of the workshop and service department. You will organise the workflow of mechanics and ensure customers receive a smooth and positive service.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage the service department, ensuring internal, retail and warranty work runs efficiently
2. Ensure department has a prioritised flow of work through the workshop
3. Oversee a team of mechanics and office staff, ensuring work is complete to a high standard and on time
4. Manage service department processes, identify improvement areas and solutions
5. Organise mobile service work for call outs and update customers
6. Develop and maintain customer relationships
7. Work towards key targets for service performance and growth
8. Manage, coach and upskill staff when required
9. Ensure all department members are working in accordance with group H&S policies
Criteria:
10. Previous relevant management experience in a service role working with automotive / plant / agricultural / construction or similar equipment
11. Organised approach
12. Excellent communicator across staff and colleagues as well as customers
13. Ability to motivate and drive a high performing team
14. Commercial acumen with sound understanding of financials
Salary is negotiable depending on experience and will be discussed upon application.
