PROCUREMENT MANAGER JOB - ENFIELD, NORTH LONDON
New Procurement Manager job available working for a market leader based in Enfield, North London.
My client based in Enfield, North London is leading the charge in the design and manufacture a range of navigation and surveillance radar systems.
As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for leading the purchasing function and will play a crucial role in achieving future growth and success. You will also get the chance to progress your career in a forward thinking organisation.
The Role:
* Develop and execute global sourcing strategies to optimise procurement and supplier relationships.
* Lead and manage procurement and logistics teams, driving data-led decisions and continuous improvement.
* Oversee supplier involvement in New Product Introduction (NPI) to ensure commercial diligence.
* Ensure compliance with all import/export legislation and company procedures.
* Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key suppliers.
* Drive cost efficiencies, supply chain resilience, and performance improvements.
* Represent procurement in contract bids and negotiations.
* Manage procurement processes, including supplier selection, evaluation, and contract award.
* Travel within the UK and internationally as required.
Qualifications & Skills for the Procurement Manager job:
* Significant experience in a senior procurement/commercial role, managing complex contracts.
* Strong knowledge of MRP, kanban, contract law, risk management, and negotiation.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills at a senior level.
* Degree/HNC in a technical or business-related subject.
* Senior CIPS membership desirable.
